Antevia Networks Wins Enterprise Solution Category at Connected Britain Awards 2026

5G SHIFT recognised for its potential to transform enterprise private 5G deployment
Reading, UK – Thursday 17th September 2026 – Antevia Networks, the telecoms equipment vendor changing the economics of private 5G networks, today announced that its 5G SHIFT Private Network Solution has won the Enterprise Solution category at the Connected Britain Awards 2026. The awards recognise organisations, solutions and programmes helping to shape the future of UK connectivity. The 2026 winners were announced during the Connected Britain event at ExCeL London.
5G SHIFT is an end-to-end private network platform designed to enable enterprises to deploy reliable, high-performance 5G connectivity without the complexity and cost associated with traditional operator-grade solutions. Its software-driven architecture, including Antevia’s patented multiplexing and Shared Cell technologies, significantly simplifies network design and deployment while enabling existing IT teams to manage private 5G infrastructure in much the same way as enterprise Wi-Fi.
The solution has already demonstrated its impact at Bath Rugby’s Recreation Ground, where 5G SHIFT provides connectivity across the stadium. The network uses just six radio access points to support point-of-sale payments, staff communications and safety systems, maintaining consistent performance even during periods of peak match-day demand.
“Private 5G has enormous potential for enterprises, but that potential can only be realised if the technology is practical and commercially viable to deploy,” said Simon Cosgrove, CEO at Antevia Networks. “Winning this award is fantastic recognition of what we set out to achieve with 5G SHIFT by taking away the complexity of private 5G while retaining the performance, reliability and flexibility that enterprises need. We’re particularly proud that this is already translating into tangible operational and commercial benefits for customers such as Bath Rugby.”
5G SHIFT is designed for deployment across enterprise environments including sports venues, manufacturing, education, healthcare, transport and logistics, and hospitality, providing organisations with a scalable platform for both mission-critical connectivity and new digital services.
