System Validation EngineerWe are seeking an experienced System Validation Engineer to contribute to Antevia’s continuing growth. This position is expected to develop functional and system tests with effective test automation solutions. The objective is to automate as much of the testing effort as possible to improve continuous integration. Antevia Networks provides wireless infrastructure that offers new and better ways to handle exponential growth in mobile data traffic. Antevia’s fully digital wireless O-RAN shared cell solution with signal routing capability revolutionizes in-building and outdoor coverage and capacity by eliminating interference and maximizing spectrum usage. Small and large enterprises around the world will deploy Antevia private network solution to ensure high quality service and a seamless migration to 5G. Responsibilities Support testing and troubleshooting of the of the new SW and FPGA image revisions in an emulated test environment and simplified E2E O-RAN system Active interaction with development engineers for identifying, analyzing and problem-solving issues. Interoperability testing of elements in the O-RAN system – active interaction with O-RAN partners for identifying and analyzing issues, and problem solving Test plan and case development for small to large-scale wireless communication systems. Test automation development and execution using Python, PyTest and associated tools in an Agile environment. Assist on in-field issue analysis, customer demos and support. Document all test related artifacts (e.g., test plan/cases/results, automation scripts, defects, etc.). Software defect tracking and reporting of software release status to stakeholders. Participate in development of Antevia Network Optimization solutions. Education, Skills and Experience Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or equivalent. 5 to 10 years of test and verification experience. Experience in testing RF and Digital Communication Systems using hardware test equipment including signal generators, spectrum analyzers, DU emulators, etc. Strong Python programming skills, specifically with NumPy and SciPy. Experience in test methodology and test processes, including requirements collection and test plan development. Good understanding of wireless communication systems and IP networking. Experience in test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Testopia, etc.) and source version control tools (e.g. SVN and Git). Critical thinking and strong troubleshooting skills.
